SURFACE VALUE
The Wandering Room invites you to our next exhibition, Surface Value.
The aim of Surface Value is to present artists who explore issues around the mass production of stuff, addictive accumulation, the allure of the slick veneer, and the dilemma of waste. Why do we continue to excessively consume when we know that it is detrimental to the environment? The artworks in this group exhibition mirror our desires and offer alternatives to capitalist cycles of extraction and disposal.
Artists: Alrey Batol, Jessica Curry, Grace Eve, Rachel O’Connor and Dustin Voggenreiter
Opening night: Saturday 3rd September 6-8pm
Viewing: Sunday 4th September 11am-2pm
