The Wandering Room is an artist-run initiative that has been operating since 2008. They have presented exhibitions in temporary and non-traditional spaces focussing on curating experimental and non-commercial contemporary art. They operated in Meanjin / Brisbane from 2008 – 2014 and relocated to Naarm / Melbourne in 2018. They are currently based in Brunswick, Naarm / Melbourne. The current and founding directors are David Creed and Angela Rossitto.

In Meanjin / Brisbane The Wandering Room presented programs of exhibitions at 99 Melbourne Street, South Brisbane; a shop space on Grey street, South Bank; the window space at Ryan Renshaw Gallery, Spring Hill; and an architecturally designed temporary gallery at Brisbane Powerhouse during Brisbane Festival.
