CURVED AIR :: PARTS OF A FLOWER

Emily Parsons-Lord and Alrey Batol

The Wandering Room invites you to the fourth instalment in our ‘Paired’ exhibition series.

'Curved air :: parts of a flower' is an exhibition in which the artists experiment with colour through botanicals and neon sculptures. Echoing the physics of large cosmic events, Emily Parsons-Lord’s light sculptures evoke meteorite trails, space time wormholes and collision sites. Alrey Batol’s work stems from a do-it-yourself philosophy in which he seeks to empower others by sharing the outcomes of his explorations in pigment creation.

'Paired' is a series of curated exhibitions pairing two Naarm / Melbourne based artists. The paired practitioners may choose to collaborate in some way or simply exhibit side by side.

Saturday 9 March, 6-8pm (opening night)

Sunday 10 March, 11-2pm (exhibition viewing and performance by Alrey Batol)

208 Victoria St (enter via Elizabeth St)
