FRAGMENTAL PLEASURE

Jodie Kipps and Kate O'Boyle

The Wandering Room invites you to the thirteenth instalment in our ‘Paired’ exhibition series. This exhibition and all our 2026 exhibitions will be hosted by Visual Diary at:

10 Frith Street, Brunswick VIC

Saturday 30 May 6-8pm (opening night)

Sunday 31 May 11am-2pm (final viewing)

Fragmental Pleasure pairs Jodie Kipps and Kate O’Boyle’s expanded textile practices. Gathering and piercing together material fragments, both artists undertake laborious textile processes to generate a familiarity and intimacy with their chosen materials, born of repetitive acts of touch. Resisting rest, these forms remain unfinished and in continuous states of metamorphoses; forever transforming and regenerating.

'Paired' is a series of curated exhibitions pairing two Naarm / Melbourne based artists. The paired practitioners may choose to collaborate in some way or simply exhibit side by side.
