JAMIE WHITESIDE - JERKS ON PLASTIC
Opening event: Saturday 26 July, 6-8pm
Final viewing: Sunday 27 July, 11am - 2pm
208 Victoria St (enter via Elizabeth St)
Brunswick VIC
Reclaiming the discarded and environmentally ruinous, Jamie Whiteside repurposes the imperishable residue of a consumerist society; redirecting it's final destination through creative intervention. Whilst questioning the value systems of this society, and the art world within it, he aims to add merit and meaning to the otherwise worthless and pernicious.
