Come if you dare to The Wandering Room’s Dollhouse’s 5th instalment 'Kids and Monsters'! Dollhouse is The Wandering Room’s current venture and is, as the name suggests, an actual dollhouse. The opening is on this Friday the 12th of August from 6pm at the Woolloongabba Art Gallery, 613 Stanley Street Woolloongabba.

 

Our exhibition featuring Nick Drake and Erika Scott sees both artists delve into their past and indulge in their love of horror and kitsch. Nick has made a collection of fiendish figurines while Erika covers the gallery floors and walls with a range of collage images and surfaces drawing on various references.

 

Coinciding with 'Kids and Monsters' are the openings of James Watts and David Nixon with' Urbania' and 'Surrender' respectively in the front rooms of WAG. Join us on Friday to revel in the childish, the domestic and the garish!

 

All three exhibitions continue until the 10th of September.
